For those who missed The Daily Show last night it was awesome… Jon Stewart took it to Jim Cramer and CNBC on the lack of “financial reporting” on their supposed “financial news” cable network. Not to be a spoiler… but there are some great video clips of Cramer off air. Take 20 minutes of your day and watch this episode!

Take a few more minutes to read a great follow up post to this story by Scott Erb on his blog World in Motion.
That’s funny. I did pick up the USA Today in my hotel room yesterday morning and saw Stewart and Cramer on the front page. And then Martha Stewart? WTF?! Cramer making a pie with a convicted inside-trader – ah, the irony.
The NYT covered it today and said it was like a Senate hearing. Pretty uncomfortable to watch. See “Economic Meltdown No Laughing Matter”:

The more I think about the fraud committed by Jim Cramer and CNBC it goes back to the same underlying problem… no one is doing any “real” repoting these days. When the “fake news” comedy show is the only one doing their research… where are we headed? I then remembered my post from last spring… Just so tired of the talking heads…. The more things change the more they stay the same!
