Is Food the New Sex?

Mary Eberstadt writes an interesting essay in Policy Review which garnered one of David Brooks Sidney awards for best magazine essays. And, given that our very own Fight Club read In Defense of Food by Michael Pollan–from which we all came away with a new zeal about what and how we eat–I couldn’t agree more with Eberstadt that we moralize more about food than we do about sex. I especially enjoyed the heading for the section “BROCCOLI, PORNOGRAPHY, AND KANT.”
